Description

A comforting classic meatloaf that brings warmth and nostalgia to the table, perfect for family dinners.


Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 pounds ground beef
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup onion, chopped
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, chopped onion, milk, ketchup, eggs, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and Worcestershire sauce.
  3. Mix until well combined, ensuring that all ingredients are evenly distributed.
  4. Shape the mixture into a loaf and transfer it to a baking dish.
  5. Top with additional ketchup if desired.
  6. Bake for 1 hour, or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (70°C).
  7. Let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

For added flavor, sauté the onions before adding them to the mixture. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container for up to 3-4 days.
