Description

A comforting pasta dish enveloped in a rich garlic cream sauce, perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 8 oz pasta of your choice
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, for garnish (optional)


Instructions

    1. Boil a large pot of salted water and cook the pasta according to package instructions. Reserve about a cup of pasta water, then drain.
    2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1-2 minutes; do not let it brown.
    3. Pour in the heavy cream, stirring continuously, and bring to a simmer.

<liGradually add the Parmesan cheese, whisking until the sauce is smooth. If it seems too thick, add a bit of reserved pasta water to loosen it.

  • Combine the drained pasta with the sauce, seasoning with salt and pepper to taste. Mix well until the pasta is fully coated.

 

Notes

For a lighter version, consider substituting half-and-half for the heavy cream. Serve with a crisp salad and garlic bread.
