Ingredients
- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 8 oz fettuccine pasta
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated (or nutritional yeast for a dairy-free option)
- 1 tbsp Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Place the chicken breasts at the bottom of the crockpot.
- Pour the chicken broth over the chicken, followed by the minced garlic.
- Season with Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Cover and cook on low for about 4 hours.
- Once the chicken is cooked, shred it with two forks.
- Stir in the heavy cream and Parmesan cheese.
- Cook the fettuccine separately, then combine it with the chicken mixture in the crockpot.
- Mix thoroughly and serve warm.
Notes
For extra flavor, sauté the garlic in olive oil before adding it to the crockpot. Feel free to add cooked vegetables for more nutrition.
