Description

A comforting crockpot dish featuring tender chicken and creamy fettuccine for a satisfying meal.

Ingredients

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 8 oz fettuccine pasta
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated (or nutritional yeast for a dairy-free option)
  • 1 tbsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Place the chicken breasts at the bottom of the crockpot.
  2. Pour the chicken broth over the chicken, followed by the minced garlic.
  3. Season with Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  4. Cover and cook on low for about 4 hours.
  5. Once the chicken is cooked, shred it with two forks.
  6. Stir in the heavy cream and Parmesan cheese.
  7. Cook the fettuccine separately, then combine it with the chicken mixture in the crockpot.
  8. Mix thoroughly and serve warm.

Notes

For extra flavor, sauté the garlic in olive oil before adding it to the crockpot. Feel free to add cooked vegetables for more nutrition.
