Description

A comforting twist on classic grilled cheese, this burrito is filled with gooey cheese and optional toppings, all crispy and delightful.

Ingredients

  • Flour tortillas (8-inch)
  • Shredded cheese (cheddar, Monterey Jack, or a combination)
  • Optional veggies (like bell peppers or spinach)
  • Cooked beef bacon or seasoned ground beef
  • Butter (for grilling)

Instructions

  1. Melt a little butter in a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Lay a tortilla flat and sprinkle cheese on one half; add any desired toppings, such as beef bacon or veggies.
  3. Fold the tortilla over to encase the filling, forming a half-moon shape.
  4. Place in the skillet and grill until golden and crispy, about 3-4 minutes.
  5. Carefully flip and grill the other side until the cheese is melted and the tortilla is browned.
  6. Remove, slice, and serve hot.

Notes

Best served with spicy salsa or fresh guacamole. Can be made vegetarian with more veggies.
