Ingredients
- Flour tortillas (8-inch)
- Shredded cheese (cheddar, Monterey Jack, or a combination)
- Optional veggies (like bell peppers or spinach)
- Cooked beef bacon or seasoned ground beef
- Butter (for grilling)
Instructions
- Melt a little butter in a skillet over medium heat.
- Lay a tortilla flat and sprinkle cheese on one half; add any desired toppings, such as beef bacon or veggies.
- Fold the tortilla over to encase the filling, forming a half-moon shape.
- Place in the skillet and grill until golden and crispy, about 3-4 minutes.
- Carefully flip and grill the other side until the cheese is melted and the tortilla is browned.
- Remove, slice, and serve hot.
Notes
Best served with spicy salsa or fresh guacamole. Can be made vegetarian with more veggies.
