Description

A delightful blend of spices with tender protein in a creamy sauce, perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb protein (chicken or beef)
  • 1 cup plain yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons ginger, minced
  • 1 tablespoon garam masala
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric
  • 1 can (14 oz) crushed tomatoes
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. Marinate the protein with yogurt, garlic, ginger, garam masala, turmeric, and a pinch of salt. Let it sit for at least 30 minutes.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat. Add the marinated protein and cook until browned.
  3. Stir in the crushed tomatoes and simmer for about 10 minutes until the sauce thickens.
  4. Add heavy cream, mixing well. Let it simmer for an additional 5–10 minutes.
  5. Season with salt and pepper to taste before serving.

Pair with basmati rice or naan; add cucumber raita for freshness.
