Ingredients
- 8 oz fettuccine pasta
- 2 chicken breasts
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Cook fettuccine pasta according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
- Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper, then add to the skillet. Cook until golden brown and cooked through, about 6-7 minutes per side. Remove chicken from the skillet and let rest.
- In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Pour in chicken broth and heavy cream, then stir in Italian seasoning. Allow to simmer for 3-4 minutes.
- Add Parmesan cheese and stir until melted and smooth.
- Slice the chicken and return it to the skillet with the cooked pasta. Toss everything together until well combined.

For a lighter version, consider swapping heavy cream with half-and-half, or using whole-wheat pasta for an added health boost.
