Description

A creamy and flavorful pasta dish featuring tender chicken and rich garlic cream sauce, perfect for any dinner gathering.


Ingredients

  • 8 oz fettuccine pasta
  • 2 chicken breasts
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)


Instructions

  1. Cook fettuccine pasta according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
  3. Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper, then add to the skillet. Cook until golden brown and cooked through, about 6-7 minutes per side. Remove chicken from the skillet and let rest.
  4. In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  5. Pour in chicken broth and heavy cream, then stir in Italian seasoning. Allow to simmer for 3-4 minutes.
  6. Add Parmesan cheese and stir until melted and smooth.
  7. Slice the chicken and return it to the skillet with the cooked pasta. Toss everything together until well combined.
  8. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving. Enjoy your delicious meal!

Notes

For a lighter version, consider swapping heavy cream with half-and-half, or using whole-wheat pasta for an added health boost.
