Description

Juicy chicken thighs marinated in a savory soy garlic mixture, perfect for family dinners or gatherings.

Ingredients

  • Bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs (or boneless)
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons honey or brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, minced (optional)
  • Green onions for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, minced garlic, honey (or brown sugar), olive oil, and ginger if using.
  2. Add chicken thighs to the marinade, ensuring they are well-coated. Let them sit for at least 30 minutes or overnight for deeper flavor.
  3. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  4. Place marinated chicken thighs in a baking dish or on a lined baking sheet.
  5. Bake for approximately 25-30 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
  6. For an extra touch, broil for 2-3 minutes at the end to achieve a golden-brown skin.
  7. Let it rest for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

Serve with steamed rice and sautéed vegetables for a complete meal.
