Description

A spicy and creamy ramen dish featuring tender chicken and rich garlic sauce, perfect for a cozy dinner or gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 3-4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 1 lb)
  • 2 servings fresh ramen noodles
  • 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 4 cups low-sodium chicken broth
  • 3 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 tsp red pepper flakes (adjust to taste)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 green onions, sliced
  • Cilantro (optional, for garnishing)

Instructions

  1. Lay out all ingredients on the countertop for an organized cooking experience.
  2. In a large pan, heat some oil over medium heat. Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper, then sear for about 6-7 minutes on each side until golden brown. Remove and let rest.
  3. In the same pan, sauté minced garlic for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Pour in chicken broth and soy sauce, scraping up browned bits from the bottom of the pan.
  5. Bring to a simmer, then add ramen noodles and cook according to package instructions (about 4-5 minutes).
  6. Lower heat and stir in heavy cream with red pepper flakes for spice.
  7. Slice rested chicken into strips and serve atop creamy noodles, garnished with sliced green onions and cilantro.

Notes

For a healthier twist, substitute heavy cream with coconut milk or use chicken thighs instead of breasts. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days.
