Description

Spicy and flavorful chicken meatballs that are perfect for weeknight dinners or entertaining guests.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground chicken
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs (can use panko for extra crunch)
  • 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup sweet chili sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sriracha (optional for extra heat)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Cooking oil for frying

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix together the ground chicken, breadcrumbs, chopped green onions, egg, minced garlic, soy sauce, sweet chili sauce, sriracha (if using), and season with salt and pepper. Combine until well mixed.
  2. Form the mixture into small meatballs, approximately 1 inch in diameter.
  3. Heat some cooking oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  4. Add the meatballs to the skillet, cooking them for about 10 to 12 minutes. Turn occasionally, ensuring they are golden brown and cooked through.
  5. Serve warm and enjoy your flavorful Firecracker Chicken Meatballs.

Notes

Best served with steamed jasmine rice or quinoa. Experiment with dipping sauces like extra sweet chili or spicy peanut sauce.
