Ingredients
- 8 beef hot dogs
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 tablespoons hot sauce (adjust to your spice preference)
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Buns of your choice
- Optional toppings: diced onions, jalapeños, pickles, shredded cheese, or your favorite condiments
Instructions
- Combine olive oil, hot sauce, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper in a mixing bowl.
- Add the beef hot dogs to the bowl, ensuring they are well coated with the spice mixture. Let them marinate for about 10-15 minutes.
- Preheat your grill or grill pan over medium heat.
- Grill the hot dogs for approximately 5-7 minutes, turning occasionally, until they have nice grill marks and are heated through.
- Toast the buns on the grill for the last minute or so, just until they are golden.
- Assemble your hot dogs in the buns and top with your favorite toppings.
Notes
For a lighter option, try using turkey or chicken sausages instead of beef. You can also prepare the marinade a day in advance.
