Description

Juicy beef hot dogs infused with a spicy marinade, grilled to perfection for a flavorful twist on a classic dish.

Ingredients

  • 8 beef hot dogs
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons hot sauce (adjust to your spice preference)
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Buns of your choice
  • Optional toppings: diced onions, jalapeños, pickles, shredded cheese, or your favorite condiments

Instructions

  1. Combine olive oil, hot sauce, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper in a mixing bowl.
  2. Add the beef hot dogs to the bowl, ensuring they are well coated with the spice mixture. Let them marinate for about 10-15 minutes.
  3. Preheat your grill or grill pan over medium heat.
  4. Grill the hot dogs for approximately 5-7 minutes, turning occasionally, until they have nice grill marks and are heated through.
  5. Toast the buns on the grill for the last minute or so, just until they are golden.
  6. Assemble your hot dogs in the buns and top with your favorite toppings.

Notes

For a lighter option, try using turkey or chicken sausages instead of beef. You can also prepare the marinade a day in advance.
