Ingredients

  • 1 pound of ground beef
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 can diced tomatoes (14 oz)
  • 1 cup of vegetable broth
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh cilantro for garnish (optional)


Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, heat some oil over medium heat. Add onion and garlic, sautéing until soft and fragrant.
  2. Stir in the bell pepper and cook until tender.
  3. Add the ground beef, breaking it apart, and cook until browned.
