Ingredients

  • Flour or whole wheat tortillas
  • Cream cheese, softened
  • Fresh vegetables (spinach, bell peppers, cucumber)
  • Cooked chicken or beef, thinly sliced
  • Shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
  • Optional: Fresh herbs (dill or basil) or dips


Instructions

  1. Begin by laying out your tortilla on a clean surface.
  2. Spread a generous layer of cream cheese evenly across the tortilla.
  3. Layer on your chosen vegetables and meat, being mindful not to overfill.
  4. Sprinkle shredded cheese and any herbs over the top.
  5. Carefully roll the tortilla from one end to the other, keeping it tight.
  6. Wrap in plastic wrap and refrigerate for about 30 minutes to firm up.
  7. Remove the wrap and slice the roll into 1-inch pieces. Arrange them on a serving platter.
