Description

Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup milk (whole or 2%)
  • 6 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted (plus extra for greasing)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • Optional toppings: powdered sugar, fresh berries, applesauce, or maple syrup


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and grease a baking dish with melted butter.
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, and vanilla until well combined.
  3. Gradually add the flour and salt, whisking until the batter is smooth and lump-free.
  4. Pour the batter into the prepared dish and drizzle melted butter on top.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for about 20 minutes or until golden and puffy.
