Description

Warm, savory sliders that capture the essence of classic French dip sandwiches in a delightful, bite-sized form, perfect for gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound roast beef, thinly sliced
  • 12 slider buns
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 small onion, sliced finely (optional)
  • 1 Tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 cup Swiss cheese, shredded
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil, for brushing

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Heat a little olive oil over medium heat in a skillet. Sauté the onions until they soften, about 5 minutes.
  3. Add the sliced roast beef along with Worcestershire sauce, beef broth, salt, and pepper. Allow it to simmer for 10-15 minutes.
  4. Prepare your slider buns by slicing them in half horizontally. Place the bottoms in a greased baking dish.
  5. Layer the beef mixture evenly across the bottom buns, then top with shredded Swiss cheese.
  6. Place the top buns over the cheese, then brush the tops lightly with olive oil.
  7. Cover with foil and bake for 15 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for another 5-10 minutes until the cheese is melted and buns are golden.
  8. Serve hot with a side of au jus for dipping.

Notes

Pair with crispy fries or a refreshing coleslaw for a balanced meal. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to two days.
