Description

A comforting meatloaf infused with the savory flavors of caramelized onions and melted cheese, perfect for family dinners.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 cup caramelized onions
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (Swiss or Gruyère)
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh herbs (like thyme or parsley) for garnish


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, caramelized onions, shredded cheese, breadcrumbs, milk, egg, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, and season generously with salt and pepper. Mix until everything is well combined.
  3. Shape the mixture into a loaf and place it in a greased baking dish.
  4. Bake in the preheated oven for about 45-60 minutes, or until the meatloaf reaches an internal temperature of 160°F (70°C).
