Description

A refreshing twist on a classic sandwich, packed with turkey, bacon, avocado, and fresh veggies, perfect for lunch or a quick snack.

Ingredients

  • 8 slices turkey breast, deli-style or cooked (about 7 oz)
  • 8 slices bacon
  • 4 large whole wheat tortillas (10-inch diameter)
  • 1 large ripe avocado, sliced
  • 2 medium tomatoes, sliced
  • 1 cup romaine lettuce, shredded
  • 1/2 small red onion, thinly sliced (optional)
  • 4 tablespoons mayonnaise or Greek yogurt
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat a skillet over medium heat and cook the bacon until crispy. Transfer to a plate lined with paper towels.
  2. In a small bowl, combine the mayonnaise and Dijon mustard; season with salt and black pepper to taste.
  3. Lay the tortillas flat and spread the mayo-mustard mixture evenly over each.
  4. Layer with turkey slices, crispy bacon, avocado, tomatoes, shredded lettuce, and red onion.
  5. Fold in the sides of the tortillas and roll up tightly to form wraps.
  6. Slice each wrap in half and enjoy or wrap in parchment paper for later.
