A refreshing twist on a classic sandwich, packed with turkey, bacon, avocado, and fresh veggies, perfect for lunch or a quick snack.
Ingredients
- 8 slices turkey breast, deli-style or cooked (about 7 oz)
- 8 slices bacon
- 4 large whole wheat tortillas (10-inch diameter)
- 1 large ripe avocado, sliced
- 2 medium tomatoes, sliced
- 1 cup romaine lettuce, shredded
- 1/2 small red onion, thinly sliced (optional)
- 4 tablespoons mayonnaise or Greek yogurt
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Heat a skillet over medium heat and cook the bacon until crispy. Transfer to a plate lined with paper towels.
- In a small bowl, combine the mayonnaise and Dijon mustard; season with salt and black pepper to taste.
- Lay the tortillas flat and spread the mayo-mustard mixture evenly over each.
- Layer with turkey slices, crispy bacon, avocado, tomatoes, shredded lettuce, and red onion.
- Fold in the sides of the tortillas and roll up tightly to form wraps.
- Slice each wrap in half and enjoy or wrap in parchment paper for later.
