Description

A delicious bowl combining canned tuna, fresh veggies, and a flavorful sauce, perfect for warm weather meals or quick lunches.


Ingredients

  • Canned tuna
  • Cooked rice (white or brown)
  • Avocado, sliced
  • Cucumber, diced
  • Edamame, shelled
  • Soy sauce or tamari
  • Sesame oil
  • Green onions, chopped
  • Seaweed (nori strips or wakame)
  • Optional: chili flakes or sriracha for heat


Instructions

  1. Prepare your rice according to package instructions, if not already cooked.
  2. Open the canned tuna and drain well. In a bowl, combine tuna with soy sauce and sesame oil.
  3. Assemble your bowl by layering rice as the base.
  4. Top the rice with seasoned tuna, avocado slices, diced cucumber, and edamame.
  5. Garnish with chopped green onions and seaweed strips.
  6. Optional: Drizzle with extra soy sauce or a touch of sriracha if desired.

Notes

This dish can be enjoyed fresh and pairs well with pickled ginger or a salad. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container for up to two days.
