Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour two 9-inch round cake pans.
- In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt. Set aside.
- In another large bowl, cream the softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Beat in the eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Add the vanilla extract and mix thoroughly.
- Gradually add the flour mixture to the butter mixture, alternating with the milk. Stir in the colorful sprinkles gently.
- Pour the batter evenly into the prepared pans.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Let the cakes cool in the pans for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
