Description

A tender and flavorful chicken dish simmered in a rich garlic butter sauce, perfect for busy days and cozy meals.

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, thyme, and onion powder. Place them in the slow cooker.
  2. In a bowl, combine the melted butter with minced garlic and pour it over the chicken.
  3. Cover and cook on low for 360 minutes (6 hours), or until the chicken is tender and fully cooked.
  4. Once done, shred the chicken directly in the slow cooker for more flavor absorption.

Notes

For extra flavor, add diced onions or mushrooms before cooking. Consider a pinch of red pepper flakes for spiciness.
