Description

Tender chicken slow-cooked with garlic and butter for a rich and flavorful dish.

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 6 cloves garlic, minced
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme (or your favorite herbs)
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • Fresh parsley, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Pat chicken breasts dry, then season them with salt and pepper.
  2. In a bowl, combine melted butter, minced garlic, and thyme. Stir well.
  3. Place chicken in the crockpot and pour the garlic butter mixture over the top.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 6 hours, or until the chicken is tender and cooked through.
  5. Once done, shred the chicken lightly with two forks and mix with the juices. Serve immediately.

Notes

For enhanced flavor, consider marinating the chicken in the garlic butter mixture for a couple of hours before cooking. You can also sauté the garlic prior for added depth, and always keep the lid on during cooking.
