Description

A quick and satisfying dish featuring perfectly seared pork chops in a rich garlic butter sauce, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

  • 4 pork chops
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Season the pork chops generously with salt and pepper on both sides.
  2. Warm a large skillet over medium heat and melt the butter, allowing it to foam slightly.
  3. Add the minced garlic to the pan and cook for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Raise the heat to medium-high and add the pork chops to the skillet.
  5. Sear the chops for 4-5 minutes on each side until they achieve a golden crust and are fully cooked through.
  6. Transfer the pork chops to a plate and let them rest for a few minutes.
  7. Just before serving, sprinkle with chopped parsley for garnish.

Notes

For added flavor, consider marinating the chops ahead of time or adding herbs like thyme or rosemary.
