Instructions
- Begin by cleaning the mushrooms gently with a damp cloth to remove any dirt.
- Slice the cleaned mushrooms into even pieces to ensure they cook uniformly.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
- Add the sliced mushrooms without crowding the pan.
- Sauté the mushrooms for about 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Add the minced garlic to the pan and stir for another 1-2 minutes.
- Season the mushrooms with salt, pepper, and a drizzle of balsamic vinegar or lemon juice, if using.
- Remove from heat and garnish with freshly chopped parsley before serving.
