Ingredients
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup Italian seasoned bread crumbs
- 2 teaspoons garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 large eggs
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Fresh parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and prepare a baking dish by lightly greasing it with olive oil.
- In one shallow bowl, mix the Parmesan cheese, bread crumbs, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
- In another bowl, beat the eggs until well combined.
- Dip each chicken breast into the beaten eggs, then coat each one thoroughly with the Parmesan-bread crumb mixture.
- Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Place the coated chicken breasts in the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown.
- Transfer the chicken to the prepared baking dish and drizzle with melted butter.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
