Ingredients
- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 4 large flour tortillas
- 4 slices cooked bacon
- 1 cup shredded lettuce
- 1 large tomato, sliced
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 cup shredded cheese (Cheddar or your choice)
- Vegetable oil for frying
Instructions
- Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
- Set up a breading station with flour, beaten eggs, and breadcrumbs mixed with garlic powder and paprika.
- Dredge the chicken in flour, dip in the egg, and coat with breadcrumbs.
- Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium-high heat.
- Fry the chicken for about 5-7 minutes on each side until golden brown and internal temperature reaches 165°F.
- Remove chicken and let it rest on a paper towel-lined plate.
- Mix mayonnaise and Dijon mustard, spreading onto each tortilla.
- Slice cooked chicken and place on tortillas with lettuce, tomato, bacon, and cheese.
- Fold the sides of the tortilla inward and roll from the bottom.
- Heat olive oil in a clean pan over medium heat and cook wraps seam-side down for 2-3 minutes on each side until crispy and golden.
- Slice the wraps in half and serve immediately.
Notes
