Description

A satisfying wrap filled with crispy fried chicken, crispy bacon, fresh veggies, and creamy mayonnaise, perfect for quick dinners or casual gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • 4 slices cooked bacon
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1 large tomato, sliced
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (Cheddar or your choice)
  • Vegetable oil for frying


Instructions

  1. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
  2. Set up a breading station with flour, beaten eggs, and breadcrumbs mixed with garlic powder and paprika.
  3. Dredge the chicken in flour, dip in the egg, and coat with breadcrumbs.
  4. Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium-high heat.
  5. Fry the chicken for about 5-7 minutes on each side until golden brown and internal temperature reaches 165°F.
  6. Remove chicken and let it rest on a paper towel-lined plate.
  7. Mix mayonnaise and Dijon mustard, spreading onto each tortilla.
  8. Slice cooked chicken and place on tortillas with lettuce, tomato, bacon, and cheese.
  9. Fold the sides of the tortilla inward and roll from the bottom.
  10. Heat olive oil in a clean pan over medium heat and cook wraps seam-side down for 2-3 minutes on each side until crispy and golden.
  11. Slice the wraps in half and serve immediately.

Notes

Double-bread the chicken for extra crunch and consider customizing with different herbs and spices.
