Ingredients
- 2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken thighs
- 1/2 cup hot honey
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Optional: red pepper flakes or cayenne, for added heat
Instructions
- Marinate the chicken: In a bowl, mix olive oil, minced garlic, salt, and pepper. Add the chicken and coat well. Let it marinate for at least 30 minutes, or up to overnight in the fridge for even more flavor.
- Prepare the grill: Preheat your grill to medium-high heat, ensuring the grates are clean for that perfect sear.
- Grill the chicken: Place the marinated chicken on the grill. Cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side, basting with hot honey during the last few minutes of grilling for that sticky finish.
- Check for doneness: The internal temperature should reach 165°F (75°C). Remove the chicken and let it rest for a few minutes before slicing.
