Description
Juicy chicken infused with a sweet and savory glaze, bringing tropical flavors to your table.
Ingredients
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken thighs
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup pineapple juice
- 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
- 1 tablespoon minced fresh ginger
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- Optional: green onions and sesame seeds for garnish
Instructions
- Whisk together soy sauce, brown sugar, pineapple juice, rice vinegar, ginger, garlic, and pepper in a medium bowl.
- Place the chicken thighs in a zip-top bag or shallow dish and pour the marinade over them. Seal the bag or cover the dish, refrigerate, and marinate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 4 hours for deeper flavor.
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. Remove the chicken from the marinade (discard any leftover marinade).
- Grill the chicken for about 6–7 minutes per side, or until cooked through and the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
- Let the chicken rest for a few minutes before slicing. Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds if desired.
Notes
For maximum flavor, consider marinating the chicken overnight. Customize the marinade by adding sriracha for a spicy kick.
