Description

Juicy chicken infused with a sweet and savory glaze, bringing tropical flavors to your table.

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken thighs
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup pineapple juice
  • 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon minced fresh ginger
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • Optional: green onions and sesame seeds for garnish

Instructions

  1. Whisk together soy sauce, brown sugar, pineapple juice, rice vinegar, ginger, garlic, and pepper in a medium bowl.
  2. Place the chicken thighs in a zip-top bag or shallow dish and pour the marinade over them. Seal the bag or cover the dish, refrigerate, and marinate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 4 hours for deeper flavor.
  3. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. Remove the chicken from the marinade (discard any leftover marinade).
  4. Grill the chicken for about 6–7 minutes per side, or until cooked through and the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  5. Let the chicken rest for a few minutes before slicing. Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds if desired.

Notes

For maximum flavor, consider marinating the chicken overnight. Customize the marinade by adding sriracha for a spicy kick.
