Description

Delicious kabobs made with marinated beef, tender potatoes, and colorful bell peppers, perfect for summer gatherings or family dinners.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb beef sirloin steaks (cut into 1-inch pieces)
  • 1 lb baby potatoes (halved)
  • 1 cup bell peppers (cut into 1-inch squares)
  • 1 red onion (cut into wedges)
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • Salt and pepper (to taste)
  • Skewers (if using wooden ones, soak them in water for at least 30 minutes)

Instructions

  1. Marinate the beef in a bowl with olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Let it marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
  2. Boil a pot of salted water and add the halved baby potatoes. Cook for about 10 minutes until fork-tender, then drain and set aside.
  3. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
  4. Thread the marinated beef, par-cooked potatoes, bell peppers, and red onion onto skewers in an alternating pattern.
  5. Grill the kabobs for about 10-15 minutes, turning occasionally, until the beef is browned and cooked to your desired doneness.
  6. Rest the kabobs for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

Feel free to customize by swapping beef for chicken or shrimp. Use similar-sized vegetables for even cooking.
