Delightful bundles of flaky pastry filled with rich cheese and savory ham, perfect for snacks or gatherings.
Ingredients
- 2 sheets frozen puff pastry (thawed)
- 8 ounces sharp white cheddar (shredded)
- 12 slices ham (1 ounce each)
- 1 egg (beaten)
- Everything bagel seasoning
- Kosher salt
- Pepper
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 425°F and line two sheet pans with parchment paper.
- On a lightly floured surface, roll the thawed puff pastry into a large rectangle and slice into 6 equal squares.
- Position a slice of ham in the center of each puff pastry square and top with 1-2 tablespoons of shredded cheddar.
- Fold corners of the pastry square over the filling and seal edges with water.
- Brush the tops with the beaten egg and sprinkle with everything bagel seasoning.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
- Serve immediately while warm.
Notes
You can substitute cheddar with Swiss or turkey instead of ham. For dipping, serve with mustard or ketchup.
