Description

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 8 oz mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar recommended)
  • Olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large skillet, heat a bit of olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and cook until translucent.
  3. Introduce the garlic to the skillet, stirring for about a minute.
  4. Add the ground beef, breaking it apart, and cook until browned. Season with salt and pepper.
  5. Stir in the sliced mushrooms and beef broth; let it simmer for about 5 minutes until the mushrooms soften.
  6. Transfer the mixture into a baking dish and top with shredded cheese.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, until the cheese is melted and bubbling.
