Ingredients
- 8 ounces of pasta (your choice)
- 2 cups of rotisserie chicken, shredded
- 2 cups of fresh broccoli florets
- 1 cup of heavy cream
- 1 cup of chicken broth
- 1 cup of cheddar cheese, shredded
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Olive oil for cooking
- Optional: crushed red pepper flakes for added heat
Instructions
- In a large pot, boil water and cook the pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
- Introduce the broccoli to the skillet, cooking until tender yet vibrant, about 3-4 minutes.
- Pour in the chicken broth and heavy cream. Stir to combine and bring to a gentle simmer.
- Mix in the shredded rotisserie chicken and cooked pasta. Allow everything to heat through.
- Add the cheddar cheese, stirring until melted and well incorporated. Season with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes if using.
