Description

A hearty one pot casserole filled with ground beef, veggies, and cheesy goodness, perfect for family dinners.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 cups pasta (e.g., elbow macaroni)
  • 3 cups beef broth
  • 1 can diced tomatoes (with juices)
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Optional: diced bell peppers or mushrooms for added flavor


Instructions

  1. Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat. Drain any excess fat.
  2. Add diced onion to the skillet and sauté until softened.
  3. In the slow cooker, combine the beef mixture with pasta, beef broth, diced tomatoes, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  4. Stir everything together until well mixed.
  5. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours, until pasta is tender.
  6. Before serving, sprinkle shredded cheese on top and let it melt.

Notes

For added flavor, consider adding Italian seasoning or swap ground beef for turkey or chicken. Best served with a side salad or garlic bread.
