Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 cups pasta (e.g., elbow macaroni)
- 3 cups beef broth
- 1 can diced tomatoes (with juices)
- 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice)
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Optional: diced bell peppers or mushrooms for added flavor
Instructions
- Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat. Drain any excess fat.
- Add diced onion to the skillet and sauté until softened.
- In the slow cooker, combine the beef mixture with pasta, beef broth, diced tomatoes, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Stir everything together until well mixed.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours, until pasta is tender.
- Before serving, sprinkle shredded cheese on top and let it melt.
Notes
