Ingredients
- 2 chicken breasts, boneless and skinless
- 8 ounces of your favorite pasta (like penne or fettuccine)
- 4 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 cup of chicken broth
- ½ cup of grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Begin by cooking the pasta according to package directions; drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper, then add them to the skillet. Cook for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked.
- Remove the chicken from the skillet and let it rest. Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a simmer, scraping up any browned bits.
- Stir in the cooked pasta and grated Parmesan until combined. Slice the chicken and add it back to the skillet, coating it with the pasta.
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
