Description

This hearty beef dish combines rich flavors and satisfying textures, perfect for cozy gatherings and family dinners.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 cup onion, chopped
  • 1 cup bell pepper, diced
  • 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Mix until well incorporated.
  3. Shape the mixture into evenly sized patties and set aside.
  4. In a skillet over medium heat, sauté onions, bell peppers, and mushrooms until softened.
  5. Pour in the beef broth and bring to a simmer; then add the patties carefully.
  6. Transfer the skillet to the oven and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the patties are cooked through and the broth has thickened slightly.
  7. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

For added flavor, you can mix in cheese with the beef or top the patties with cheese towards the end of baking.
