Description

A comforting casserole featuring hearty meatballs and pasta, perfect for busy weeknights and family gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound frozen beef meatballs
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 12 ounces pasta (ziti or penne)
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the frozen meatballs, marinara sauce, and uncooked pasta.
  3. Mix in the sliced bell peppers, onion, and garlic.
  4. Transfer the mixture into a baking dish and cover with cheese.
  5. Bake uncovered for about 30 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  6. Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

For a healthier option, substitute with whole wheat or gluten-free pasta. Brown the meatballs for added flavor and texture.
