Delicious no-bake bars with peanut butter and oats, perfect for a snack or dessert.
Ingredients
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 1 cup peanut butter (creamy or crunchy)
- 1/2 cup honey or maple syrup
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips (dark or milk)
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- A pinch of salt
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine the rolled oats and peanut butter, mixing well.
- Add honey (or maple syrup), vanilla extract, and salt. Stir until fully incorporated.
- Fold in the chocolate chips.
- Press the mixture evenly into a lined baking dish.
- Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes until firm.
- Once set, cut into bars and enjoy!
Notes
For added texture, consider incorporating nuts or seeds. Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a week.
