Ingredients
- 2 cups rolled oats
- 2 ripe bananas, mashed
- ½ cup peanut butter (smooth or chunky)
- 2 cups milk (or dairy-free alternative)
- 3 tablespoons honey or maple syrup
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- A pinch of salt
- Optional add-ins: chocolate chips, nuts, or dried fruit
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking dish.
- In a large bowl, mix the oats, baking powder, and salt.
- In another bowl, combine the mashed bananas with peanut butter, milk, honey, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry mixture and stir until well combined. If you’re adding any extras like chocolate chips or nuts, fold them in now.
- Transfer the mixture to the prepared baking dish, smoothing the top with a spatula.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown and set. A toothpick inserted in the center should come out clean.
- Allow it to cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
Notes
