Ingredients
- 1 lb beef (sliced thin)
- 2 cups broccoli florets
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1/4 cup beef broth
- 1 teaspoon ginger (grated)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Cooked rice or noodles (for serving)
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add the sliced beef and cook until browned, approximately 3-4 minutes.
- Introduce minced garlic and grated ginger to the skillet, cooking for an additional minute until fragrant.
- Toss in the broccoli florets, cooking for 2-3 minutes until they are bright green and tender-crisp.
- In a small bowl, mix together soy sauce, cornstarch, and beef broth. Pour this mix over the beef and broccoli, stirring until the sauce thickens.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve hot over cooked rice or noodles.
Notes
Feel free to substitute flank steak for the beef or use low-sodium soy sauce to reduce salt intake.
