Description

A satisfying breakfast casserole packed with layers of beef, eggs, and cheese, perfect for any mealtime.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 10 large eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 cups shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice)
  • 1 cup diced bell peppers
  • 1 cup diced onions
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Optional: herbs like thyme or parsley for garnish


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat until fully cooked. Drain any excess fat.
  3. In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs and milk. Add salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Stir in the cooked beef, diced vegetables, and cheese until well combined.
  5. Pour the mixture into a greased baking dish.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the eggs are set and the top is lightly golden.
  7. Allow to cool slightly before slicing and serving.

Notes

For added flavor, sauté the beef with garlic or onion powder. Can be prepared ahead and refrigerated overnight.
