Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
- 1 can (14.5 oz) green beans, drained (or fresh green beans, trimmed)
- 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 cups cooked rice (optional for heartiness)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat until fully cooked. Drain excess fat.
- Add onions and mushrooms to the skillet, sautéing until tender.
- Stir in the cream of mushroom soup, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
- Fold in the green beans and rice, if using, until evenly coated.
- Transfer the mixture to a casserole dish and sprinkle cheddar cheese on top.
- Bake in the oven for about 25 minutes or until bubbly and golden brown.
