Description

A comforting one-pan meal featuring chicken sausage and orzo, topped with fresh spinach and creamy Parmesan.

Ingredients

  • Chicken sausage (sliced)
  • Orzo pasta
  • Onion (finely chopped)
  • Garlic (minced)
  • Chicken broth
  • Heavy cream
  • Spinach (fresh)
  • Parmesan cheese (grated)
  • Olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Sauté the onion until translucent.
  2. Add minced garlic and sliced chicken sausage. Cook until browned.
  3. Stir in the orzo and toast slightly before adding chicken broth.
  4. Bring to a simmer, reduce heat, and cover. Cook until the orzo absorbs broth and becomes tender.
  5. Fold in fresh spinach and heavy cream. Mix until well combined.
  6. Finish with grated Parmesan cheese and adjust seasoning with salt and pepper.
