Description

A comforting blend of seasoned beef, vegetables, and flavorful toppings, perfect for gatherings or cozy dinners.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb Ground beef
  • 1 Onion, diced
  • 1 Bell pepper, diced
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 can Canned tomatoes, diced
  • 1 can Corn, drained
  • 1 can Kidney beans, drained and rinsed
  • 2 tbsp Chili powder
  • 1 tsp Cumin
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Shredded cheese (optional for topping)


Instructions

  1. In a skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat until fully cooked. Drain excess fat.
  2. Add diced onion, bell pepper, and garlic to the skillet. Sauté until softened.
  3. Transfer the beef and vegetable mixture into the slow cooker.
  4. Stir in the canned tomatoes, corn, kidney beans, chili powder, cumin, salt, and pepper.
  5. Cover and cook on low for 6 hours.
  6. Before serving, sprinkle cheese on top if desired and allow it to melt.

Notes

For extra flavor, brown the beef with Worcestershire sauce or add diced jalapeños for spice. Serve with fresh herbs and cornbread.
