Description

A flexible and fun dish perfect for using up ingredients in your fridge. Customize with your choice of fillings and enjoy a warm, cheesy delight.


Ingredients

  • 1 pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1 cup cooked ground beef, crumbled
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (mozzarella or cheddar)
  • ½ cup bell peppers, diced
  • ½ cup onions, diced
  • ½ cup marinara sauce (or your favorite sauce)
  • Garlic powder, to taste
  • Italian seasoning, to taste


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface.
  3. Spread a thin layer of marinara sauce over the dough, leaving a border.
  4. Sprinkle the cooked ground beef evenly across the sauce.
  5. Add the diced bell peppers and onions on top.
  6. Generously coat everything with shredded cheese.
  7. Season with garlic powder and Italian seasoning as desired.
  8. Carefully roll the dough tightly from one end to the other, sealing the edges.
  9. Place the rolled dough seam-side down on a baking sheet.
  10. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown.
  11. Let cool slightly, slice, and serve warm.

Notes

Best served alongside fresh salad or dipping sauces. Store leftovers wrapped in foil/plastic in the fridge for up to three days.
