Description

A delightful dish featuring shrimp bathed in a sweet and savory honey garlic sauce.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce (or tamari for gluten-free)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, mix together honey, minced garlic, and soy sauce. Set aside.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Add the shrimp to the skillet and cook for about 2-3 minutes until they begin to turn pink.
  4. Pour the honey-garlic mixture over the shrimp and sprinkle red pepper flakes if using.
  5. Continue to cook for another 2-3 minutes, ensuring the shrimp are thoroughly coated and fully cooked.
  6. Remove from heat and garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

For best results, use fresh or properly thawed shrimp. Adjust the sweetness level of the sauce to your preference.
