Ingredients
- 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 3 tablespoons honey
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce (or tamari for gluten-free)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- In a small bowl, mix together honey, minced garlic, and soy sauce. Set aside.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add the shrimp to the skillet and cook for about 2-3 minutes until they begin to turn pink.
- Pour the honey-garlic mixture over the shrimp and sprinkle red pepper flakes if using.
- Continue to cook for another 2-3 minutes, ensuring the shrimp are thoroughly coated and fully cooked.
- Remove from heat and garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
For best results, use fresh or properly thawed shrimp. Adjust the sweetness level of the sauce to your preference.
