Description

This honey garlic shrimp recipe showcases the natural flavors of shrimp, enhanced by a sticky, sweet glaze that’s easy to prepare and perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon chopped green onions, for garnish
  • Sesame seeds, for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine honey, minced garlic, soy sauce, and sesame oil (if using).
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Add the shrimp to the skillet, cooking for 2-3 minutes on each side until they turn pink and opaque.
  4. Pour the honey garlic mixture over the shrimp and stir to coat evenly. Cook for an additional 2 minutes to let the sauce thicken slightly.
  5. Remove from heat and garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds before serving.

Notes

For a fresh twist, add a splash of lime juice before serving. If you prefer spiciness, consider adding red pepper flakes.
