Description

Tender shrimp coated in a luscious honey garlic sauce that balances sweetness and savoriness, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce (or tamari for gluten-free)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil (or sesame oil for extra flavor)
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Chopped green onions for garnish (optional)
  • Sesame seeds for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Combine honey, minced garlic, soy sauce, and a pinch of salt and pepper in a bowl to create your sauce.
  2. Toss the shrimp in half of the sauce and let them marinate for about 10 minutes.
  3. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  4. Add the shrimp in a single layer. Cook for 2-3 minutes on one side, then flip and pour in the remaining sauce.
  5. Cook for another 2-3 minutes until the shrimp are pink and cooked through.
  6. Garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds, if using. Serve immediately.

Notes

Best served with steamed rice or over quinoa. For more flavor, add a squeeze of lime juice or sprinkle of cilantro.
