Ingredients
- 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce (or tamari for gluten-free)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil (or sesame oil for extra flavor)
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Chopped green onions for garnish (optional)
- Sesame seeds for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Combine honey, minced garlic, soy sauce, and a pinch of salt and pepper in a bowl to create your sauce.
- Toss the shrimp in half of the sauce and let them marinate for about 10 minutes.
- Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add the shrimp in a single layer. Cook for 2-3 minutes on one side, then flip and pour in the remaining sauce.
- Cook for another 2-3 minutes until the shrimp are pink and cooked through.
- Garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds, if using. Serve immediately.
Notes
Best served with steamed rice or over quinoa. For more flavor, add a squeeze of lime juice or sprinkle of cilantro.
