Description

A hearty blend of seasoned ground beef, melty cheese, and flavorful veggies, all served on soft buns—perfect for gatherings or casual weeknight meals.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 1 green bell pepper, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 cup provolone or American cheese, shredded
  • 4 hamburger buns
  • Salt and pepper, to taste


Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat. Drain excess fat.
  2. Add the chopped onion and bell pepper, cooking until soft.
  3. Stir in minced garlic and cook for an additional minute.
  4. Pour in beef broth and Worcestershire sauce, then add oregano, salt, and pepper. Simmer for about 5 minutes.
  5. Top the mixture with cheese and cover until melted.
  6. Serve on toasted buns and enjoy!

Notes
