Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 1 green bell pepper, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 cup provolone or American cheese, shredded
- 4 hamburger buns
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions
- In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat. Drain excess fat.
- Add the chopped onion and bell pepper, cooking until soft.
- Stir in minced garlic and cook for an additional minute.
- Pour in beef broth and Worcestershire sauce, then add oregano, salt, and pepper. Simmer for about 5 minutes.
- Top the mixture with cheese and cover until melted.
