Description

A comforting and nostalgic beef pasta dish that’s perfect for family gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb Ground beef
  • 2 cups Pasta (elbow macaroni recommended)
  • 2 cups Beef broth
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 2 cups Shredded cheese (cheddar)
  • 1 Onion, diced
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • Seasonings (like paprika, Italian herbs, salt & pepper)
  • Optional: Vegetables like bell peppers or broccoli


Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat until fully cooked. Drain excess fat if necessary.
  2. Add diced onion and minced garlic to the skillet, sautéing until soft and fragrant.
  3. Stir in the pasta followed by the beef broth and milk. Bring the mixture to a boil.
  4. Reduce the heat, cover, and simmer until the pasta is tender, typically around 10-12 minutes.
  5. Once pasta is cooked, stir in shredded cheese until melted and creamy. Adjust seasonings to taste.

Notes

For a healthier option, consider substituting part of the pasta with whole grain or spiralized vegetables.
