Description

A quick and delicious homemade dinner featuring lean ground beef and vibrant broccoli, all cooked in a sweet and savory honey garlic sauce.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 1/4 cup pure honey
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 2 green onions, chopped


Instructions

  1. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Add the ground beef and cook until browned, about 5 minutes.
  3. Stir in the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, around 1 minute.
  4. Pour in the honey and soy sauce; mix everything well.
  5. Toss in the broccoli florets and drizzle with sesame oil, cooking until the broccoli is bright green, roughly 3-4 minutes.
  6. Fold in the green onions and serve hot over rice or noodles.

Notes

Feel free to swap ground beef for ground turkey or chicken for a leaner option. For a vegetarian option, substitute with firm tofu.
