A succulent baked salmon dish infused with honey, garlic, and butter, perfect for any occasion.
Ingredients
- 4 boneless salmon fillets
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp honey
- ½ tsp dried parsley or 2 tsp fresh parsley, chopped
- ¼ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp pepper
- Pinch of paprika
- 1 lemon, sliced into half-moons
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F) with the fan on. Line a baking tray with foil or a silicone mat for easy cleanup.
- Place the salmon fillets on the baking tray, ensuring they are skin-side down.
- In a small bowl, combine the melted butter, minced garlic, honey, parsley, salt, pepper, and paprika until mixed well.
- Evenly pour this flavorful mixture over the salmon fillets.
- Artfully arrange the lemon slices on and around the fish.
- Bake for 8 minutes. Then, carefully baste the salmon with the sauce from the tray.
- Bake for an additional 4 to 7 minutes, or until the salmon is tender and flakey.
- Serve alongside your favorite potatoes and green vegetables.
Notes
For crispy skin, ensure it is completely dry before baking. For an umami twist, add a splash of soy sauce to the honey garlic mixture.
