Description

A succulent baked salmon dish infused with honey, garlic, and butter, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless salmon fillets
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • ½ tsp dried parsley or 2 tsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp pepper
  • Pinch of paprika
  • 1 lemon, sliced into half-moons

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F) with the fan on. Line a baking tray with foil or a silicone mat for easy cleanup.
  2. Place the salmon fillets on the baking tray, ensuring they are skin-side down.
  3. In a small bowl, combine the melted butter, minced garlic, honey, parsley, salt, pepper, and paprika until mixed well.
  4. Evenly pour this flavorful mixture over the salmon fillets.
  5. Artfully arrange the lemon slices on and around the fish.
  6. Bake for 8 minutes. Then, carefully baste the salmon with the sauce from the tray.
  7. Bake for an additional 4 to 7 minutes, or until the salmon is tender and flakey.
  8. Serve alongside your favorite potatoes and green vegetables.

Notes

For crispy skin, ensure it is completely dry before baking. For an umami twist, add a splash of soy sauce to the honey garlic mixture.
