Description

Tender chicken thighs coated in a sweet and savory honey garlic glaze.

Ingredients

  • 4 bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs (or boneless for lighter option)
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 3 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce (or tamari for gluten-free)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley or green onions for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Season the chicken thighs with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and sear the chicken, skin side down, for about 5-6 minutes until golden brown.
  3. Flip the chicken over and reduce the heat to medium. Continue cooking for another 5 minutes.
  4. While the chicken is cooking, whisk together honey, minced garlic, and soy sauce in a small bowl.
  5. Pour the honey garlic mixture over the chicken, ensuring even coverage.
  6. Cover the skillet and let everything simmer for about 10-15 minutes until the chicken is cooked through.
  7. Serve with a sprinkle of fresh parsley or green onions for added color and freshness.

Notes

Consider marinating the chicken in some honey garlic sauce before cooking for enhanced flavor.
